Pick & Stick
We pick your items and, in the same step, apply labels, barcodes or price tags before they go into the parcel.
Pick & Stick combines picking with marking: as soon as an item comes off the shelf, the warehouse applies the right label, be it a barcode, a price tag, a care label or a country-specific shipping label. This saves a separate handling step and ensures every item leaves the warehouse correctly labeled. You define the rules once, and the control center applies them the same way to every order across our fulfillment locations.
What Pick & Stick covers
Many shipments need more than just the product in the box: trade units need EAN or GTIN barcodes, retail goods need price marking, cross-border parcels require customs and contents labels, and some industries mandate batch or care labeling. We take care of it right at the picking station, instead of pre-labeling the goods in a cumbersome extra step beforehand.
Label and document printing is billed at a fixed rate per print, and the picking itself per order for the first item plus a small rate for each additional item. So you only pay for the pieces that are actually labeled, with no minimum volume and no flat fees for unused capacity.
How Pick & Stick works
Set the rule
For each item or order type, you define which label goes where, e.g. a barcode on the back of the packaging or a price tag on the front.
Pick and scan
During picking, the warehouse scans the item, and the control center pulls the stored label template and reconciles it against inventory.
Apply the label
The right label is printed and applied cleanly in the designated spot, each piece individually and to your specification.
Check and ship
Before packing, we check barcode readability and placement, then the goods go out for shipping with an avg. 1.2 days turnaround.
When Pick & Stick pays off
The service makes sense whenever goods don't arrive at the warehouse ready to ship, but should only get their final label during picking. This applies to merchants who deploy their inventory flexibly across multiple channels and only decide at the order stage whether a piece goes out as a B2B trade unit or a B2C end-customer item.
It also pays off in cross-border business between Switzerland and Germany: from Switzerland and from the EU, we label shipments with the correct label depending on the destination country, including the documents that customs and VAT processing require. That way you avoid returns due to incorrect or missing labeling.
Transparency in the control center
Every labeling operation is traceable in the control center: you see in real time which items were labeled with which label and what that cost per order. At 99.7% inventory accuracy, it's always clear what sits labeled in inventory and what has already left the warehouse tagged.

FAQCommon questions
Questions about Pick & Stick
Which labels can you apply?
Barcodes (EAN, GTIN), price tags, shipping and returns labels, contents and customs documents, plus batch- or industry-specific markings. You store the template, we print and apply it to your specification.
What does Pick & Stick cost?
Picking is billed per order for the first item and with a small rate for each additional item, and each label or document print at a fixed rate. Every line item is shown transparently and tailored to your volume; there's no minimum volume and no forced term.
Do I need to have the goods labeled in advance?
No. That's exactly the advantage: we only label during picking, so you can deploy the same goods flexibly for different channels or destination countries without committing them in advance.
Does this also work for shipments to Germany and the EU?
Yes. From Switzerland and from the EU, we label shipments with the correct shipping and customs label depending on the destination country, including the documents needed for customs and VAT processing.
