What we handle for beauty and cosmetics brands

We take in your goods sorted by SKU at a fixed rate per delivery — mixed deliveries take a little more effort — record the batch and best-before date for each item and put them into storage: on the shelf at a fixed monthly rate, on the pallet space likewise at a fixed monthly rate. Testers, samples and sets we treat as their own items, so bundles and promotion sets are picked cleanly.

Every order is picked by FEFO, that is, with the batch expiring first, and packed ready for shipping. Pick & Pack is billed per order for the first item and at a small rate for each additional item. Glass, flacons and pump dispensers we cushion so that nothing breaks or leaks. Shipping runs via the rate calculator: Swiss Post domestically, FedEx, UPS and DHL for the EU and worldwide.

How a beauty order flows through

1. The order comes in

   Your shop sends the order to our control center, it appears in inventory right away and goes into picking.

2. FEFO picking

   We pick the items with the oldest best-before date first and check batch, quantity and condition before packing.

3. Break-proof packing

   Flacons and glass are cushioned, sets and samples added, labels and inserts printed (printing at a small rate per document).

4. Shipping and tracking

   The shipment goes out via the right carrier, and you and your customer receive the tracking number automatically.

Shelf life, batches and traceability

Cosmetics are subject to shelf-life limits and, in the event of a complaint or recall, to batch-tracking requirements. We keep every item with its batch and best-before date in the control center and ship strictly by FEFO, so goods don't age out on the shelf. You can see in real time how much shelf life each batch has left, and can sell off in a targeted way shortly before expiry instead of writing off.

Should a batch be recalled, it can be clearly identified and blocked via inventory. That keeps traceability and inventory accuracy (99.7% in operation) intact even with many variants and short product cycles.

Cross-border Switzerland and EU

Many beauty brands sell from Switzerland to Germany and into the EU. From Switzerland we ship cross-border with customs and VAT handling; from the EU we serve the EU market with short distances and without re-clearing customs for every order. So you decide, per market, where delivery goes out from, and keep transit times and shipping costs low.
