Electronics
We warehouse, inspect and ship your electronics down to the serial number, ESD-compliant and with proper dangerous-goods handling for devices with a lithium battery.
Electronics don't forgive sloppiness: a wrong serial number, a static discharge to the board or an unlabeled battery in the parcel cost you margin and reputation. ShipHugo treats every unit as what it is: a good that requires registration, is often battery-powered and is prone to returns. We capture serial and IMEI numbers at goods-in, store sensitive goods with ESD protection and ship lithium devices under the applicable dangerous-goods regulations — domestically as well as across the border to Germany and into the EU.
Serial numbers, IMEI and batches firmly under control
With electronics, the individual unit counts, not just SKU-level stock. We capture serial, IMEI and MAC numbers by scan at goods-in and link them to every shipment. That way, for every order you know which specific device reached the customer — which makes the difference for warranty cases, RMA and recalls.
For batch-tracked components and FIFO-bound goods (such as batteries with a shelf life or parts with a revision level), we control outbound picking by batch or receiving date. Your live data in the control center shows inventory, serial-number assignment and movements in real time, without you having to chase updates by phone.
ESD protection and quality checks in the warehouse
We store and pick circuit boards, PCBs and exposed components in an ESD-compliant way: antistatic workstations, grounded packaging and trained staff prevent electrostatic damage that only shows up once the device is at the customer. Sensitive goods are packed securely for transport, with proper cushioning instead of loose fill.
On request, we inspect at goods-in against your specifications: visual check, quantity and completeness check, matching serial number against packaging label. That way we catch mislabeled or damaged goods before they move into shippable inventory.
How your electronics move through ShipHugo
Goods-in with serial-number scan
We take in your delivery, scan serial, IMEI and batch numbers and check quantity and condition against your advance notice.
ESD-compliant put-away
Sensitive goods go onto the shelf in antistatic packaging, battery devices into the dedicated, dangerous-goods-compliant storage area.
Pick, pack and battery-compliant shipping
When an order comes in, we pick down to the serial number, pack securely for transport and ship with correct dangerous-goods labeling via the right carrier.
Returns and RMA with device identity
We match returns to the serial number, inspect, classify and move checked goods back into inventory or into defective stock according to your rules.
Batteries, dangerous goods and shipping across the border
Devices with a lithium-ion or lithium-metal battery are dangerous goods in shipping and need the right labeling, packaging and carrier clearance. We ship them compliantly — domestically via Swiss Post and cross-border via FedEx, UPS and DHL — with the right paperwork instead of goods that get stuck at the hub.
For selling into Germany and the EU, we handle the customs and VAT topics too: correct customs tariff numbers for your electronics, export and import processing, and fast shipping from within the EU, with no border on every single order.

FAQCommon questions
Questions about electronics
Does ShipHugo capture serial numbers and IMEI per device?
Yes. We scan serial, IMEI and MAC numbers at goods-in and link them to every shipment. For warranty, RMA or recall, it's traceable which specific device went to which order.
Do you ship devices with a lithium battery?
Yes, compliantly as dangerous goods. We pack and label according to the applicable regulations and ship domestically via Swiss Post as well as cross-border via FedEx, UPS and DHL with the right paperwork.
How do you protect sensitive electronics from static charge?
We store and pick circuit boards and exposed components at ESD workstations with grounded, antistatic packaging. That way we avoid electrostatic damage that would only show up at the customer.
What do warehousing and shipping cost with you?
Warehousing in a shelf bin or on pallet spaces, plus Pick & Pack per order, each calculated by effort and individually to your volume. The specific rates are available on request, transparent and with every line item clearly itemized, with no minimum volume and no forced term; shipping rates run transparently through the rate calculator.
