ShipHugo treats every product accordingly: we store by separated batches, ship by the FEFO principle (the batch expiring first goes out first), keep cosmetics and supplements in cool, light-protected storage areas and document every movement. That keeps your goods sellable, and you have live insight into inventory, remaining shelf life and shipments at any time.
Why Health & Wellness needs its own fulfillment
A pre-workout, a face cream and a collagen powder sell differently, but they all age: batch and best-before date decide whether the goods can still go out or stay sitting in the warehouse. Manage that in Excel and sooner or later you lose a batch to expiry or accidentally ship the shortest remaining shelf life to a regular customer.
ShipHugo tracks batch and best-before date for every item in the system. During picking, FEFO (First Expired, First Out) kicks in automatically: the unit with the shortest remaining shelf life goes out first. In the control center you see per SKU which batches with which best-before date are still in stock, and you're alerted before anything gets too close to its expiry date.
Storage that fits the goods
Supplements in powder form, capsules, serums and creams tolerate neither heat nor direct light. In Switzerland we keep cool, light-protected storage areas ready for them and store light-sensitive and temperature-sensitive items separately from ordinary shelf goods.
Billing is transparent, based on actual space: shelf goods on a shelf slot at a fixed monthly rate, pallet goods on pallet spots at a fixed monthly rate, every line item clearly itemized. No minimum volume, no forced term. If you swing hard by season (detox cures in January, sun care in summer), you only pay for what's actually stored.

We take in every delivery, capture batch and best-before date and book single-variety deliveries in at a fixed rate per delivery, with mixed deliveries a bit more involved.
Batch-separated put-away
Every batch gets its own storage location, temperature- and light-sensitive items land in the cool, protected area.
Pick & Pack by FEFO
For every order the system picks the unit with the shortest remaining shelf life first; we bill Pick & Pack per order for the first item and at a small rate for each additional item.
Shipping & live tracking
Domestic via Swiss Post, EU and worldwide via FedEx, UPS and DHL, all with live status in the control center and avg. 1.2 days turnaround.
Cross-Border Switzerland and EU with customs
Many health brands sell from Switzerland to Germany and the EU, or the other way around. When shipping across the border, customs and import VAT come into play, and with food supplements in particular, each country has its own labeling and quantity rules.
From the EU you ship intra-European without a customs border directly to EU customers; we serve the Swiss market from Switzerland. For cross-border shipments we prepare the customs and VAT documents so the goods don't get stuck in customs.

Questions about Health & Wellness
Do you manage best-before dates and batches automatically?
Yes. We capture batch and best-before date at goods-in and pick by FEFO, so the unit with the shortest remaining shelf life always goes out first. In the control center you see remaining shelf life per SKU and get alerted before a batch becomes critical.
Do you store temperature- and light-sensitive cosmetics properly?
Light-sensitive and temperature-sensitive items we store separately in the cool, light-protected area of our fulfillment locations in Switzerland. For this we need the storage requirements per item from you.
Can you ship food supplements to the EU?
Yes, intra-European directly from the EU without a customs border. From Switzerland we prepare the customs and import VAT documents. The product-specific labeling obligations of your target market are on you; we implement your specifications.
What happens to expired or damaged goods?
We separate out units that are no longer sellable, flag them in the control center and coordinate disposal or return with you. For returns we check, at a fixed rate per item, whether the goods can go back on sale.
